About Tomas Dupal Construction

The company was founded by Tomas Dupal after he had obtained his trade licenses ("B" - General Building Contractor and "C10" - Electrical)* in 1992. On majority of projects, Tomas works together with his independent partner and a few junior contractors/helpers (on an as-needed basis). While the company occasionally subcontracts some works (ashalt driveways, wood staining, etc.), Tomas Dupal Construction has all the expertise to provide customers with almost any residential and light commercial construction services.

Estimate and Fees
We offer a free on-site consultation, followed by a written or verbal estimate, as requested. Please be ready to provide detailed description of your project (and plans if available), if you wish to get a flat fee estimate. Otherwise, we use a more cost effective way of "Time and Material" billing, where our crew, provides 9-10 working hours a day to maximize the work efficiency. The typical crew consists of one or two contractors, plus one or two helpers (per necessity and/or per your request for project's speed and deadline). You'll still get an estimate for the entire project upfront. Material is charged separately with no mark up, and often presents additional savings by being purchased at wholesale or contractors' discount price. While it's usually better to plan all intentended works at the beginning of the construction project, "Time and Material" also allows for a great flexibility during the project, should you get new ideas during the project. Signed contract and monetary deposit are required in order to commense the work. Regardless of any payment schedule during the project, the balance is due upon completion of the project.
