Utilities/Technical issues:
The property if off the PG&E grid.
Electricity comes from an outdated solar system sufficient only for a modest ligthing, water heater and light tasks; power tools and any appliances with heavy wattage can be operated only from a generator.
There is a propane tank on the property that supplies gas for a heater (there is also a great working wood stove for cold winter season), cooking range, owen and a refridgerator.
Well water is officially drinkable but because of its enormous amount of iron (deep yellow sediment), we recommend to use drinking (bottled) water.
